Mrs O's vintage finds: hens and jelly moulds

How do you get jelly out of the mould in one piece?

David Palmer etchings at McGill Duncan Gallery

A little while back I wrote about the McGill Duncan Gallery (here) - a gallery in Castle Douglas which sells a finely edited collection of Scottish paintings from the C19th and pieces by national and international designer-makers. I would like to cover a wall with these beautiful etchings of jugs by David Palmer - here are a few of my favourites.

Rachel Orme handbag at Cabbages & Frocks Market, Marylebone

I spotted that handbag again by Rachel Orme at the St Marylebone Cabbages & Frocks market - tote bag in textured leather, adjustable handles so you can wear on your shoulder, and add a nice little Venus purse in cream and green. You are ready for summer.

(contact Rachel via her website for more details)

Helen Chatterton scarves

I spotted these great scarves by Helen Chatterton at the Handmade in Britain event at the Oxo Tower in May - maps of London printed on silk or cotton lawn printed on one side, backed with linen. She also makes scarves with maps of Liverpool - have a look here.
a slice of London on a scarf
a little lavender square of London (handy little tag to hang it in your wardrobe to repel moths)
